- Mrs. Krishanthy Sivalingam has been serving as a Senior Assistant Librarian (Grade II) at the Library of Trincomalee Campus, Eastern University, Sri Lanka, since August 2023. She joined the University Library in 2018 as an Assistant Librarian and has since contributed significantly tolibrary development, research support, and academic outreach.
- She graduated with First Class Honours in Agriculture from Eastern University, Sri Lanka, and later obtained a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the National Institute of Library and Information Science (NILIS), University of Colombo. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Soil Science from the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture (PGIA), University of Peradeniya.
- Mrs. Sivalingam has authored numerous indexed and peer-reviewed journal articles and international conference papers, reflecting her active engagement in research on academic libraries and sustainable development. She has also served as a reviewer for national and international
- conferences and continues to promote evidence-based library practices through research and collaboration. Additionally, she serves as a Visiting Lecturer for the Higher Diploma in Library and Information Science at Eastern University, Sri Lanka.
